In addition to participating in various other charity events, the Peter Vickers Business Group has now become one of the pivotal sponsors in the Ku-ring-gai Chase and Barry Easy Walk, working to raise funds in support of the Special Olympics

12th March 2015 – For over 35 years, Peter Vickers Group has been a prominent member of the North Shore community, helping people deal with the financial matters of their families and businesses.They are now contributing to the community by helping raise funds in Sydney’s North Shore as one of the main sponsors supporting the Special Olympics.

At a recent interview, Mark from Peter Vickers Business Group said, “This is a great opportunity for us to be involved in helping these special kids. People from our organisation have been involved in events like these before, andwe are confident we can help raise funds for this fantastic initiative.”

The Peter Vickers Business Group is well recognized within the community for their professional accounting, business advisory and superannuation services in Sydney. They have specialservice packages for older Australians and those with special needs helping families and carers. This includes bill payments and managing investments for both children and/or parents of those who require special assistance.

“Since we have been involved as a major sponsor this year, our employees and their family members are involved, so there are probably 60 or 70 people coming from our side. Everyone is talking about it and I invite everyone to come on along on the day and be part of this!”

The Special Olympics walk or run in Wahroonga commences atClaude Cameron Grove at 9am on Sunday 15th March. A shuttle bus will run from the Turramurra Station from 7:45 am and the event is categorized into the 4.5km Barry Easy Walk and the 9km Ku-ring-gai Chase Fun Run.
